Our 5th generation Roastmaster, Jeff McIntosh has selected the Tanzania Peaberry as his latest batch of Roastmaster Reserve. Tanzania borders a few of the great East African coffee producers, namely Burundi, Kenya, Malawi, Rwanda and Uganda - and many roasters find that the peaberry coffee found in this Tanzanian growing region produces a more intense taste as flavors are amplified due to the smaller bean. 

Tasting Notes: A very nice fruity acidity and body with citrus flavors rounding out the cup.

Location: Northern Tanzania at 3,000 to 5,500 foot elevation
